Wine Guest Writer : K.T. on Japanese Wine

-
-

We have a Wine Guest Writer K.T. today who is a new proud owner of a east coast condo (though quite puny in size) but relatively quite impressive modern deco with crystal lighting over her dining table.

"Have u tried the wine that i bought from Japan? i tried mine today with my friends, i dun reallie noe how to describe it, its very sour when i taste it but then there is absolutely no lingering taste of sourness on the tongue at all unlike most wines. Amazing!"

You must admit it sounds quite amateurish, but you have to give her credit for trying. And somemore trying a wine that comes for a country more well know for Kimonos, Raw Fish, Sake and Samurais than Wine. Well at least you can say that the wine is really unique and you cannot get it in Singapore as no one in Singapore will import it...I will try my bottle too and let you all know if I have the same evaluation as she.

Btw, i only buy wine that cant be found in sgp. hahaha!

I bought this apparently quite famous Sake from Hokkaido called Otokoyama (Boy Mountain?). Its quite a huge bottle though. We can try it but its damn strong. I was almost KO-ed at the store in Japan. The alcohol content is high man.

There's another one from Australia, Melbourne. Bought this in 2003 when i went there with Anne Goh. Gosh, i never knew how to even select a wine. I just grabbed a couple of bottles for my parents and for Desdragon.

Anyway i guess my fav is still the TBA and Sauternes. Yah, fan of sweet wines.
