Cloudline Oregon Pinot Noir 2007 (USA)

-
Heard about the exquisite nature of Oregon Pinots, so I bought a bottle to try.
Light pale violet in the glass

Smell : Gentle delicate raspberry with touch of spice.

Taste : Addictive infusion of herbs, raspberry, strawberry mixture.

After taste : Fair comfortable length with some tannins.

Description at back of bottle:
Cloudline is a wonderful and elegant expression of Pinot Noir, the most inspiring and seductive of all grapes. Relying exclusively on the best vineyards in Oregon. Cloudline is a true representation of Pinot Noir incredibly rich charming, harmonious and complete. The wine is beautifully balanced and fruit forward, with a silky texture and a gentle spice of oak.

I'm in total agreement about Clouline Pinot '07. I was impressed with the lower (13.5%) alcohol level and great price for a Pinot at around $20.
